I attempted Dry January this year. Not for charity, I’m doing a half marathon for that, but just for health. I made it about 3 weeks in, I broke it with this.
A Punch Back!
It’s rather light and refreshing
- 1.5oz Golden Rum
- 1oz Cachaca
- 3/4oz Lemon Juice
- 3/4oz Sugar Syrup
- 1/8oz Malibu
- 2oz Water
Shake with ice then strain over ice and enjoy. I garnished with a lemon slice and umbrella as I didn’t have any pineapple. Also, the Malibu and water were supposed to be coconut water, but I’d run out, so I improvised.
This is similar to the lighter rum punch I wanted to create after my original rum punch recipe. This one is a little too easy to drink though, so take it easy.
